“Warm Hands, Warm Hearts”: LBU winter clothing drive photo contest
The MNA Council on Clinical Nurse Practice, Advocacy, & Education and the MNA Council on Workplace Health and Safety invite all Local Bargaining Units to participate!
Coordinated by local leaders, each LBU collects winter clothing for kids and adults in their community who need it:
- New or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots, socks
- New underwear and base layers only
Each participating LBU must submit photos (maximum of two) and count of donated items by midnight Sept. 18, 2026. See below for photo criteria.
Multiple awards will be handed out at the 2026 MNA House in October. Your LBU could win the traveling trophy! Awards will be given out in other photo categories as well. Possible categories may include funniest photo, most members in one photo, best team spirit, best use of props, etc.
LBUs should donate items to their Emergency Department or a local shelter. Do not bring items to the House of Delegates.
