Welcome, DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital RNs!
We’ve compiled information below that you may find helpful as nurses at the hospital work to form their union with the Michigan Nurses Association.
Election Update:
Our union election is officially postponed due to the federal government shutdown. This does not mean it is canceled, as management would like nurses to believe. We will let you know as soon as the National Labor Relations Board sets new dates for the election when the shutdown ends.
While this might be frustrating, it doesn’t change the momentum we’ve built together. Now is the time to keep talking with your coworkers about why you support forming a union and how we can make our hospital better for everyone.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to sign our Vote Yes petition if you haven’t already, to show your support and solidarity! Every signature sends a message: we’re ready, and we’re not backing down.
